We have several growing, well-established CPA firms in the Charleston area are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant/Tax Manager who is passionate about building a long-term career in public accounting. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Review and prepare tax projections and quarterly estimates.
- Provide consultative advice and business guidance to clients.
- Manage client relationships and ensure efficient workflow.
- Support staff development through mentorship, training, and supervision.
- Manage and enhance internal quality control processes.
- Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and develop new client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance and planning.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor staff.
