Jamiel Kadri, President and Founder
Fulcrum Staffing is owned and operated by Jamiel Charbel John Kadri, CPA. Jamiel is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Management. Jamiel began his career in Big 4 public accounting in Charlotte, North Carolina. His client base consisted largely of companies in the commercial industrial sector, which included large publicly traded companies, as well as medium sized manufacturing and retail clients.
Prior to working in public accounting, Jamiel also worked in corporate accounting for IBM at their United States Accounting Center in Raleigh, NC. Jamiel left public accounting to join one of his managers at his start up search firm. For over six years, Jamiel helped grow and establish the practice in the Charlotte market. During that time, he built a reputation for his professionalism, honesty and integrity, which is the foundation under which Fulcrum Staffing continues to operate since Jamiel started the company in January 2008. He is passionate about advising his clients and candidates in their search and interview process.
Jamiel brings a strong understanding of the accounting and finance professional search process, and his background and experience in professional accounting allows him to better understand his clients’ accounting and finance staffing needs.
Sarah Curtis has lived in Mount Pleasant over 10 years. After teaching elementary school for 11 years and being a stay at home mom for 17 years, she recently launched back into the workforce and joined The Fulcrum Team! Sarah enjoys spending time with family, reading, biking, baking, her bible studies and church groups, but she loves to dance! Jazzercise is her favorite hobby and she currently takes adult ballet classes at Mount Pleasant School of Performing Arts to keep her on her toes! Her greatest achievement is raising two wonderful boys into strong men! Her favorite quote, “Too blessed to be stressed!”
Justin moved to Charleston in August 2014 after graduating from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Fulcrum Staffing, Justin worked for Blackbaud in the Global Non-Profit sector where he was responsible for processing charitable donations from employees of numerous Fortune 500 corporations with non-profit organizations and NGOs around the world. With six years in Charleston and experience in numerous industries, Justin has an established network that is continuously growing within the Greater Charleston Metro Area.
Susan Sloate has been involved in recruiting for more years than she usually likes to count. She began actively recruiting business partners in a highly successful telecommunications business in 1995, where she rose to the rank of Regional Director and National Training Director. She worked in recruiting again during the 2010 Census, when she recruited and trained Census field employees, then managed them as a crew leader. She continued recruiting in a national marketing business until 2011, before landing a role created for her in a national Lean recruiting firm, where she did research and first contacts for six years in the manufacturing and medical industries. Now she’s joining Fulcrum Staffing as a Candidate Recruiting Specialist, where she’s excited to recruit in the financial sector. Susan grew up in New York, went to school in Los Angeles, and has lived in Mount Pleasant for the last twenty years. She has two grown sons; one is a recent graduate of USC in Columbia, the other now works for the Kansas City Chiefs and has the Super Bowl ring to prove it. In her spare time, she co-hosts her own podcast, TALK JAM, and is the best-selling, award-winning author of 21 books.
Allison was born and raised in Mount Pleasant. She has a passion for serving others and helping them fulfill their full potential. She loves solving problems and she thoroughly enjoys helping organizations find great talent. After graduating from Wando High School, Allison attended the University of South Carolina, and then taught elementary school for fourteen years. She now puts her teaching experience to use by helping our clients find the best talent possible, while helping to guide candidates to find their ideal jobs. Allison enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young nephews. In addition, she enjoys walking with her dog, going to the beach, boating with friends, working out or playing tennis.
